The client
Monadd was founded by Jessica Mendoza to solve one of modern life's most universally tedious problems: updating all your services when you move address. Banks, utilities, subscriptions, local authority - the list is long and the process is painful. Monadd's vision was a single, simple platform that handled it all in one place, without the back-and-forth.
Where Bravand came in
Jessica came to us with a clear idea and a real problem to solve - but needed a UX and design team to bring it to life in a way that was simple enough for anyone to use and polished enough to take to investors.
Jilly and Emma worked with her to map the UX from scratch - ensuring the journeys were as streamlined as possible, with careful attention to fault protection and edge cases. They then translated the UX into a full clickable prototype built in Axure, ready for Jessica to present to her first round of funders.
What happened next
The prototype did its job. Jessica secured her first round of funding - and came straight back to Bravand to design and build the first live iteration of the Monadd web app.
After that, Monadd brought development in-house, with their own tech team taking the product forward. They returned to Bravand later for further UX consultancy as the platform grew and new functionality - including a service cancellation flow - needed reviewing against the original user journeys.
In January 2026, Monadd was acquired by Bunch, the household admin platform, to strengthen their move-in and address management offering.
The outcome
A founder's idea, validated through design, funded through a prototype, built into a live product, and ultimately acquired. Not a bad journey from a chance meeting in East London.
Jessica's words at launch said it best:
"Thank you Jilly and Emma for being the wonderful women behind this - and all of the pieces that are not shown there too! Thank you thank you thank you."
