Farewell Alexa: Five Fabulous Years of Creativity, Growth & Impact
This month, Team Bravand is saying a heartfelt farewell to Alexa, who after five brilliant years with us is heading off to an exciting new opportunity at another agency.
It’s bittersweet. On one hand, we’ll miss her enormously. On the other, we couldn’t be prouder - and we can’t wait to see what she does next.
From Fresh Meet to firm favourite
When we first met Alexa, she was fresh out of Uni and freelancing. We immediately spotted her capability and potential, so offered her a permanent position.
Alexa has always been full of talent, curiosity and drive, and over the years, she’s transformed that energy into a body of work that has shaped not just client projects, but the way we work as a team.
She’s grown from tackling early-stage design challenges to leading User Research and UX Design across major digital projects, always bringing her sharp eye, collaborative spirit and creative problem-solving to the table.
A lasting legacy
What Alexa leaves behind is much more than just her fabulous work (though there’s plenty of that!). She leaves a legacy of:
- Creative brilliance: consistently finding fresh, human-centred solutions to tough problems.
- Collaboration: building relationships that made projects smoother, stronger, and more fun.
- Kindness: lifting up colleagues, supporting clients, and bringing a positive presence to every interaction.
We’ve reached a point where we’re learning far more from Alexa than she’s learning from us, which is the mark of someone who has outgrown Team Bravand and is ready for the next step.
On to the next adventure
When a new opportunity came her way, it wasn’t just a good fit - it was irresistible. We encouraged her to take it, knowing it’s a natural next step and a chance to make an even bigger impact.
And while we’ll all miss her hugely, we’re excited to see how she shapes her new role, her new team, and her next chapter.
